Test Christy 555 hovercraft platform
January 28, 2015 Christy 555 platform was tested by our team of engineers and mechanics. Units of the new model and the unique design of flexible protection, developed by our engineers specifically for this boat, were tested as well.
Testing was performed on a snow-covered surface with the fully loaded platform. Weight of missing elements of the structure (windows, winch, fuel tank, seats, etc.) was simulated by ballast –sandbags. Japanese engines Daihatsu with aviationscrewsand aviation gear -blower 18HP motor and cruise 35HP engine. The construction showed excellent results moving freely with 11 passengers on board! (it could carry even more). Moreover, the main engine power was enough to drag a FiatDucato weighing more than 2 tons. According to the results of this test,it was decided to add a regular 5th place to the boat and assign the model number Christy 555.
Please note that only running qualities of the new model were tested, the final design of the vessel will be shown to the public later at our special presentation.
Not only large capacity can be attributed to the advantages of the newboat, but also an attractive cost of 24 750€ ! Nowhere in the market today can you find more favorable offer in terms ofload capacity / price / quality!
