The successful test results of the amphibious vessel possibilities of the hovercraft Christy-458 FC in the extreme conditions

On 21.11.2016 the trials rides of the hovercraft CHRISTY-458 (2017 model year) of the Company Christy Hovercraft, as well as the training of the customer for piloting the hovercraft in unfavorable meteorological conditions (strong squally wind, high humidity) were carried out.

Despite the difficult weather conditions, the hovercraft CHRISTY-458 FC demonstrated its high quality running characteristics, successfully moving, both solid, water surface and the icy slush, crushed ice, which is not an obstacle for the amphibians of CHRISTY brand. The flexible skirt of the vessel has not received any mechanical damages.

The customer, who bought the vessel for the transporting of the personnel to the station of working process in the area of fishing trade of the trout-breeding farm in Karelia, was very pleased with the test results. The piloting education which was carried out by the leading experts of the company Christy Hovercraft at a high methodological and organizational level, allowed the customer to obtain all necessary skills of the vessel control.

Later that evening, we had the good opportunity to test the same vessel in even more difficult conditions – the moving around the marshland with partially frozen ground and thick grass. The amphibian CHRISTY-458 FC has fully managed with the task in such difficult conditions.

Before the shipment of the off-roader CHRISTY-458 FC, the customer and we have been able to test the vessel for the maximum capacity at the assembly area. The results depicted on the video speak for themselves!

For the moving of CHRISTY-458 FC with the loading of 14 passengers and a total weight of 1750 kg was required to make only 10-20 kg of the force to move the vessel around the assembly area.

This test drive has completed the full cycle of the tests of the new model CHRISTY-458 FC of 2017 model year.

The next day, the vessel was shipped to the customer and successfully put into operation.
